28 Days of Loving God -Day 23
Beloved, our word today is the environment. God gave us our environment.
You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. Nehemiah 9:6. NIV.
Tonight, the sky had a peach color and the different colors of blue as the sunsets. The environment is the natural world, as a whole or in a particular geographical area, significantly affected by human activity. Our God has given us great earth.
One of the beautiful things I love is the ocean waves. And then the memorable mountains are fun to visit. Don’t forget to see the local caves and fields where the corn grows. Nature screams God. I love it here in Missouri, where the wildflowers are pretty enough to pick and make a bouquet.
What do you appreciate about your environment? Are you a good steward of your background? We built our house in the middle of a hayfield, and we have a lot of trees, so we observe the beauty of the trees as they go through seasonal changes. Spring is coming, and I look forward to the trees changing colors. But, mainly the trees are getting their leaves.
Yes, we serve a God that cares about our environment.
Father God, thank you for our world.
