28 Days of Loving God – Day 4
Beloved, our word is a nest. Recently, we noticed birds trying to build a nest in an area of our roof. We have a high-pitched roof to accommodate the loft that we haven’t quite finished yet, and we could see the birds flying in and out of a particular area. Nest is in the Bible twenty-four times; God takes care of the birds.
Psalm 84:3 shares about the sparrow and the swallow, and in Matthew 6, we read about how God tells us not to worry.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Our Heavenly Father cares for the birds of the air, this passage shares that we are more valuable than the birds of the fields.
God loves us so much. Read this verse about His unfailing love.
For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. Psalm 33:4-5. NIV.
