30 Days of Thankfulness-Day 22
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. Psalm 28:7
Helped
Beloved, how has the Lord helped you?
Because I am a sinner saved by grace, I’ve accepted Jesus as my Savior. Each one of us has come to this realization. For me, I remember where I was and what I was doing when I asked Jesus to become a part of my life.
Because I am a sinner saved by grace, I am, according to Ephesians, a saint. So the Apostle Paul writes to us in Ephesians 1. Paul shares our spiritual blessings, such as eternal life and adoption, because we are in Christ.
Because I am a sinner saved by grace, I am known by Jesus. The Shepherd knows his sheep, and he knows each one of our names. I am often called Diane, but beloved, friend, Jesus knows me as his daughter Diana.
Today, I am thankful for my heritage in Jesus. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit who dwells within me. Yes, I am grateful for each of my spiritual blessings.
My heart knows Jesus, and He is my strength, shield, and song.
Father God, I am thankful for Jesus, my redeemer. Thank you for being my kinsman-redeemer in Jesus’s name, amen.
What are you thanking God for today?
