30 Days of Thankfulness Day 4
You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Psalm 118: 28. KJV.
What are you most thankful for? I think of my husband, my sons, my extended family, and my friends. But according to the Psalmist, as we declare our faith, perhaps we should be most thankful for God.
God created the world and He created you and me. In Psalm 118:1 we read.
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Will you join me in thanking God for His mercy?
In verse 5, God answers prayer. Will you join me in thanking God for answered prayer?
Additionally, we read about trust in verses 8 and 9, let’s thank God that we can trust God. Moreover, we learn in verse 14, that the Lord is our strength and song. Thank God that He is our salvation.
The Lordis my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation.
Lastly, in verse 29,
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Let’s give thanks for God’s mercy.
So, beloved, let’s praise and thank God.
Father God, Thank you for your love, mercy, and grace. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
What attribute of God do you want to thank him for today? The verse to write is Psalm 118:28.
