Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Psalm 103:2
Have you heard the saying, “God is good all the time and all the time God is good?” Our verse today to write is Psalm 103:2. What are some of God’s blessings? What are some of His benefits?
While studying Ephesians 1: 1-3, the blessings of God are not what the material blessings each of us has in our lives; no, these blessings are eternal, spiritual gifts, such as being born again, our sins are forgiven, our eternal destination of heaven.
Beloved, what are the benefits this verse speaks?
Read with me some of the benefits,
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103: 3-5.
Forgiveness is ours; healing occurs, redemption, we’re not only crowned with righteousness, and our strength renewed.
Today, let’s be thankful for God’s goodness and His many benefits.
Father God, thank you for being a good God. Thank you for the blessings we have in our lives. Thank you that you provide every excellent gift. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
