This week, we are sharing what we would do if we had a million dollars to spend. That’s a lot of money. Here is what comes to mind when I think of spending a million dollars!
If money were no object and I had a million dollars I would retire! Then I would be free to fly to see my father who lives in Oklahoma at least twice a month instead of twice a year. I would buy my husband his truck and 5th wheel of his dreams.
As a nurse, three causes near and dear to my heart. The first two I will link together homeless and mental health issues. I would have a shelter that would help the homeless and a center to help those with mental health issues. The last one is our precious senior citizens. I would have a agency that gives to the seniors not based on what they can pay but based on what they need to be successful in their homes.
I would give to my local church, although God is very rich and does not need my money.
I would help my family and friends. College for grandchildren, nieces and nephews. I already have a book ministry so this would be enlarged. I have a friend who has a retreat home for missionaries. I would like to have one for us writers. I have another friend I would love to buy a home on the beach.
Dreams would come true and I would probably run out of money because you see I am usually very generous.
What about you? How would you spend a million dollars?
