This week we are sharing random and quirky things about ourselves for the 52 Lists Project.
I am still in contact with my first friend. We met when she was four years old and I was seven.
I have to go to sleep on my right side.
I can read a book in the car without getting car sick.
I can speed read.
I can finish a book in a day if I want too.
I compose and edit as I go when I write.
I didn’t drink coffee until I was 58 years old.
I have lost 113 pounds and maintained the weight loss for four years.
I have been blind in my left eye since birth.
I have to have special coating on my glasses or I see my eye looking at me.
I can pick up things with my toes.
I didn’t become a nurse until I was Jack Benny’s age.
As a nurse, I love to get to the point of things and it is better to give than to recieve.
What is one random or quirky thing about you? I would love for you to share in the comments below.

August 30, 2016 at 3:10 amI share some of your quirks!

I can finish a book in a day if I want to. (And I have many times, but not recently)
I would rather give than receive. (But receiving is nice once in awhile too!) Lol!

August 30, 2016 at 6:40 amWhat an interesting list! I think it’s wonderful that you’re still in contact with your first friend. I also can read in the car, and can finish a book in a day (although I rarely do that any more, because there are too many other things that I HAVE to do!)

August 30, 2016 at 10:24 amCongrats on all that weight loss! I can’t read in the car–even a map sometimes will get me feeling a little off. It is really neat that you are still in contact with your first friend.

September 5, 2016 at 1:58 pmDear Diana,
I also met my best friend when she was four — and I was, too. We eventually moved far away from each other geographically, but stayed close anyway. I was blessed to be able to visit her twice recently, shortly before her death earlier this year when she got to go home to be with Jesus.
If I’m a passenger on a long car ride I can’t read a book– I’ll be asleep! In a chair in my living room, though, I can read a book in a day!
I think you are awesome to have become a nurse at Jack Benny’s age!

One of my quirky things is having to carry at least carrying one book, a notebook, and a bunch of pens in my purse.
