As I lite my candle tonight, I am in awe of love of Christ for each of us.
Christ was with God in the beginning. “Let us make man in our image,” Genesis 1:26.
Day 2: The Greatest Gift
Ann VosKamp says,
“This Christmas Story begins in the beginning. The authority of God made all of creation. But it was the affection of God that made all His children.”
Be Still and Know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
Your mission tomorrow is to look at the sky, look at the hills, look at the oceans, where ever you live and see the beauty that is in this world. What causes you in this beautiful world to wonder?
Ann says, “The answer to deep anxiety is deep adoration of God.”
[Tweet “The greatest gift we can give our great God is to let his love make us glad. Ann VosKamp”]
Father God, I am in awe of your love, your gift to us, your son. I am in awe of rainbows, and the clouds and the smiles that I see on people’s faces.
What are you in awe of today?

Helena
December 3, 2014 at 10:01 pmHi my name is Helena. I read your interview with Tracie from proverbs 31 ministry, and I wanted to say that I am touched. Deep to my core touched! I was anorexic most of my young life, was delivered from that spirit in my mid twenties, but I have never been able to fully heal from the torment of my image in the mirror. I am bordering on obesity and it’s slowly killing me in a few different ways…the spiritual bondage with food is a darkness I have learned to cope with but I also have been asking for freedom and complete healing from! This freedom is found at the cross and hearing truth will light the path there…

December 4, 2014 at 4:23 pmHelena, we can have freedom. We are free in Christ. I have a page on who we are in Christ and I know that when I practice my freedom I am free indeed. https://www.diana2rockwell.com/who-I-am-in-christ.
