Believe

When I saw the word for Tuesday at Ten, Here are my thoughts of the  word  Believe. Believe is a word of hope for me. I believe God cares about the details of our lives. I believe that He is with us in the storm and in the calm. I believe that God’s word has authority over my life. I believe on the dark days He is there. I believe when I can’t find the word to pray, Jesus intercedes for me. I believe that I am significant. I have been justified and sanctified.

This song says that in a storm, the smallest prayer will be heard. But I believe it is God in the great somewhere that hears my prayers.

I just started reading “Victory Over The Darkness” by Neil Anderson.  He states, “The only identity equation that works in God’s Kingdom is you plus Christ equals wholeness and meaning.”  I believe God gives me meaning and wholeness. He says, “The truth (Christ and His Word) should set us free and enable us to conform to the image of God.”  I believe the bible when it says in Genesis 1:26-27 that God created us in His image. I believe I am accepted, I am secure, and I am significant. I did not always recognize the value of my life, oh I recognized the value of your life, but not so much my value. However, today, I believe and I celebrate that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I believe that God knows and loves me.  I believe that I am Christ friend, I am God’s child, I am united with the Lord, and I am one spirit with Him. I believe I am a saint who sometimes sins. I believe I have been adopted as God’s child I believe I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God. I believe that I a minister of reconciliation for God. I believe I can do all things through Christ who strengths me. Most importantly, I believe that I have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I believe that I can find grace and mercy in time of need.

Do you believe?  Father God, I pray that whoever is reading this post recognizes that you care about the details of his or her life. I pray that they grasp how much you love them and desire a relationship with each one of us. John 3:16 says. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will have eternal life.”  Our eternal life starts now and you want what is best for us.
