Background: In Exodus 35, Moses gathers the Israelites together and they bring offerings to the Lord for the tabernacle. Exodus 35: 29 says, “All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the Lord freewill offerings for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.”
My five minutes of thoughts on the word Look
Are you looking for ways to serve the Lord? I believe that as we serve a living God who is active that God sends us opportunities every day and really we do not have to look to far to serve God. In Henry Blackby’s book Experiencing God, he reassure us that God is already at work all we have to do is be willing to be used by God and then join God in the work that he is already being done. Today will you look for an opportunity to serve God? Perhaps, it is to sit with an elderly person and read to them. Perhaps, a telephone call to your parent to tell him or her how much you appreciate them. Perhaps, telling your spouse how much he or she is loved. Today can you look at your life and see blessings? Can you thank God for those blessings? Father God, thank you for the blessings I have in my life. Thank you for my family, friends, for my job. Lord for the person reading this enable them to look beyond the concerns of the world and look at the blessings we have every single day. “Count Your Blessings Name Them One by One. Count Your Many Blessings, See What God Has Done.”
