I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

The word today is new. I thought of the verse in Ezekiel. Also I thought of a song I have known for a long time. GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS. This is evident in the life of the Israelites and in our lives.

 

The Israelites in Exodus 14 were delivered from the hand of the Egyptians. In Exodus 15, Moses and the Israelites sang a song to the Lord. On this day, the response to the Lord was one of declaring His Glory.

Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.

Stop.

Is the Lord the Lord of your life? He puts a new heart in us when we ask him to be our Savior.  But more importantly,  God’s mercies are new every morning according to Lamentations 3. Jesus wants to be LORD in your life not just your savior. Blessings.
