My five minutes of thoughts on wake.
Praise him, praise him, all you children of the lord. We are his children and he deserves our praise. Have you ever praised God in the morning when you wake up? I like to write out my prayers. The first section in my prayer journal is for praise. When you awaken in the morning, do you spend time with the Lord before you rush out of the door? The second section is admit. We are to confess our sins to the Lord. The third section is for request. I date the requests and then I can see God’s answers. The fourth section is for thanksgiving. I thank him for the blessings I have in my life. Then I take a verse or section from the New Testament, Old Testament, and Proverbs and I ponder the verses, sometimes I write out the verses or make them a prayer. Will you join me and when you wake up in the morning will you spend time with God?
