Break
As I was on twitter for a few minutes, I found the five minute party gang. I suggested that we break dance. The art of Break Dancing is amazing.
As one can see these people are young and can do things with there bodies that I can only dream of doing. So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars have revitalized dancing. There are break dancing movies I have watched. I watched Flash Dance, Step Up, Step Up 2, Step Up 3 D, and I still love Dirty Dancing.
Break dancing is a way of dancing, break a leg, is a saying used to wish someone luck who will be performing, break my heart is describing when someone has hurt you.
So today how about we do as King David did and dance for the Lord. In Ecclesiastics 4:3 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, . Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. …
Okay don’t break the bank or break someone’s heart. Let’s dance.
Be glad at such a time, and dance for joy; for your reward is great in Heaven; for that is just the way their forefathers behaved to the Prophets! (Luke 6:23)
So here is an eight year old that can break dance.

March 27, 2015 at 3:41 pmOk this is one topic I couldn’t write on! LOL However, you my FMF friend was spot on fabulous! Loved the Scripture you referred to and it reminded me of how my daughter praises and worships our Lord… with dance and flags which brought a big smile to my face 🙂

March 27, 2015 at 3:43 pmI love that King David danced before the ark of the covenant. I’m not a very graceful dancer – but I love watching those who are!
