Crevice-Hide Me In The Clift Of The Rock

Beloved, I’ve always loved the story where Moses was hidden in the cleft of the rock when the glory passed him by. Can you imagine Moses and Isaiah seeing God? Heart-pounding, jaw-dropping experiences. Crevice is in the Bible three times. The definition the crevice is a narrow opening or fissure, especially in a rock or wall.

We are all covered by the glory of God. This is because he gave his Son to all who believed in Jesus. Therefore, we all gain eternal life through this belief.

: “16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His [a]only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17.

We see in this prayer how King David rejoices in salvation.

King David’s prayer

Read me Psalm 13

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever?
How long will You hide Your face from me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul,
Having sorrow in my heart all day?
How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death,
And my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.

But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

Pray with Me

Father God, Create in me a clean heart; search me and see if there is any anxiety or worry. Thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, I have trusted in your lovingkindness, and my heart rejoices in Your salvation. In Jesus’s name. Amen

What do you need to have God cover?

Seriously, confession is good for the soul, Moses faces glowed for having been with God. Do people know that you walk with the Lord?
