- When you hit a crossroads, taker the road that moves you closer to Jesus.
- When we own our own story, God can do something spectacular with it (even the hard parts).
- Look for clues that help you discover or rediscover who you are.
- You have a choice in who influences your heart. Choose people who will move forward with you.
Suzanne Eller encourages in her blog to take the road that moves you closer to Jesus. She interviews Chrystal Evans Hurst on her new book She’s Still There. This book is the new Proverbs 31.org bible study that starts next week. The above statements are from Suzanne’s blog.
I am at a crossroad. Retirement in June, moving in July to Oklahoma, writing is my future and the road that will take me closer to Jesus. Much work needs to be done in my life. I’ve purchased writing courses and not completed the courses. Now I’m retired and I have no excuses. Beloved, is there something you have been putting off? My fear is if I complete the course what excuse will I have to writing? What are your fears? I made a promise to write everyday. Writing everyday is the only way to get past a writer’s block. So I will devote a certain amount of my day toward the completion of the courses as Jesus would have me do.
I will renounce my fears and work through Chrystal Evans Hurst book. There is a girl inside of me. I’ve read the first chapter and her book is amazing so far. Join me in reading her book. I am working on reading 1 Timothy. In chapter 1 Paul declares himself chief of all sinners. We are all sinners saved by grace. Jesus’ gift of himself allows us to claim our own story and see that God is doing something spectacular with our lives. Do you believe that you have a choice in who influences your heart? Who will you choose to move forward with you? Beloved, let Jesus influence your heart.
