Challenged by a writing course to find my writing voice or to hone my writing voice. The word this week is find. Losing or misplacing my keys is my downfall. Just when I think I have the problem solved I misplace the keys. You see my husband never loses his keys. The keys are in one of two places, his pocket or the second drawer of the dresser. My keys are usually in my purse, I try to have them in the outer pocket of the purse. When I am unable to locate my keys I become anxious. Well, now I am anxious about finding my writing voice. First of all, I did not know I had a writing voice,, or that I needed to hone my voice, or that I needed to identify my writing voice. So, here I sit and ponder my writing voice. I also ponder why painters wear white pants, and why the drive up ATM has braille? Last but not least, to emphasize I lost my keys and my book this week. I left the autographed copy of Stress-Less Living at the pharmacy on Friday of last week. I also bought a new purse the same day. This week, I called and found my book and I found my keys in the new purse. I hope as much trouble as I have finding things, the new study on stress less living will help me be less stressed. Additionally, I hope I find my writing voice. God is so good that if we seek him with all of our heart He will be found. Blessings.

August 22, 2015 at 4:34 pmI am glad that you found your book and your keys. I can totally relate to this. I have a tendency of misplacing things a lot too. I think that the more we practice writing the clearer our writing voice will become. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

August 23, 2015 at 1:59 amOh, Diana, I can so relate to the losing of keys! I try to always put them in the same pocket in my bag, but I can’t seem to follow through, and I end up shaking the bag around trying to hear them rattle, or dumping the contents to find them down in the bottom. Such a simple thing can make me feel so stressed out.
I think a writing voice might be easier to find than the keys. Praying for you this week!

August 23, 2015 at 4:19 amI love your Find graphic. I also love your post. I had to laugh about losing your stress less book. I hope that didn’t add to your stress. 🙂
I always put my keys in an outer pocket of whichever purse I’m using. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry, I accidentally slip them into the wrong pocket and there is that panic when they’re not where you think they should be. But that only happens a couple times a year. My husband is the one who loses his, and his glasses.
Have a great day, Diana!

August 24, 2015 at 2:26 pmDear Judy, the funny thing is I put them in the outside pocket of the new purse. I have lost my sunglasses and the glasses were on my head. Thank you for commenting on my blog. Blessings Diana
