Beloved, our word is follow, and the definition of follow is going or coming after (a person or thing proceeding ahead); move or travel behind. The word follow or a form of follow is in the Bible over 370 times. I followed Jesus when I was eleven years old. When did you follow Jesus?

Sweet friend, as Jesus begins his ministry, he calls and equips, but the command is to follow.

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4: 19.

This is one of many times that the disciples followed Jesus.

What are we to seek?

As we follow Jesus, there is no turning back. Daily, we seek to serve him.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 1 Timothy 6: 11. 

What area do you need to improve in the following?

King David, in Psalm 23, said, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

I see the goodness of God every day. I try to see the good in people and recognize God working in my life. I continue to have faith and pray when things are difficult,

Diligently

We are to put one foot in front of the other.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8.

Father God,

May we be faithful, love mercy, and walk humbly with you, Lord? In Jesus’s name, amen.
