GIFT- God- Immutable- Faithful- Truth
Sometimes I would like a surprise gift, one unexpected. I have started a ministry of sorts giving books to women who may not have the money to buy a book. How did this start? Suzanne Ellers offered readers to take part online the reading of her book, The Mended Heart, while responding to one of her comments, I saw a post from a young woman asking for a book. I send her a message and at first she did not take my offer. A few weeks later, she asked me if the offer was still good and of course I sent her the book. Since this time, as I have lost count of how many books I have given as gifts. The gifts I give is to share God’s love.
God is love and His gift to us is His Son. Jesus is God, He is Immutable, He is Faithful to each of us and He is truth. Our gift.
End.
On Christmas Day, my husband surprised me and gave me diamond earrings. The gift unexpected. He gave me the gift because he loves me. Beloved, God loves you so much, have you accepted the gift of salvation? Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9: 12-15
