God whispers for emphasis absolutely three reasons God is good.
Have you ever heard or said, “God is good all the time, and God all the time God is good ?” Somehow, today’s word fits with this saying. The term is emphasis. The definition of Emphasis is as particular importance, value, or prominence given to something. We often see emphasis in writing by special symbols such as an exclamation mark. Or another way is for the word will be bolded.
Beloved, God whispers to us, God is good.
Good is in the Bible 778 times. Good is defined as a morally right noun, righteousness, and adjective to be desired or approved. We encounter the word good as God unfolds His creation, and He declares His design and the things He created as good.
Beloved, there are three reasons God is Good.
- He is God the Father.
- He is God the Son.
- He is God the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity is one of the mysteries of the Bible. It is often hard to understand, but it is true. God exists in three different yet equal forms. We read the first time the Trinity is emphasized in Genesis 1, read with me.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26, KJV.
God the Father
We read God is Spirit in the Bible. Beloved, God the Father does not have a physical body.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1: 1-2. KJV.
God is spirit, and those whoworship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24. KJV
God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Numbers 23:19 ESV.
I pray to Father God, and God himself declared creation is good as we read in Genesis 1: 31, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.”
God whispers to you; I am God.
God the Son
Beloved God the Son was with God when the creation of the world transpired. Then, God the Son came in human form. We read this in John 1:1.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 KJV.
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel”
(which means, God with us).” Matthew 1:23 ESV
Jesus is God the Son, and He gave his life so that we have eternal life.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8. KJV
God whispers, accept my son, and you will have eternal life as we read in John 3:16.
God the Holy Spirit
What can I say about the Holy Spirit? He is our comforter, and He prays for us when we do not know how to pray.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26. KJV.
God whispers through the Holy Spirit, confirming we are the children of God.
Conclusion
God whispers to each one of us an emphasis on how good God is! Beloved God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.
What emphasis does God have in your life?
