God whispers providence wins over serendipity.
Do you believe in fate? Defining the word serendipity, one would read the occurrence and development of events by chance, happily or beneficially, or “a fortunate stroke of serendipity.” Whereas defining providence is the protective care of God or nature as a spiritual power.
Serendipity
Once I watched a movie called Serendipity. Two travelers on the way to different events meet. Of course, the attraction is great, and you can guess at the end of the movie, they connect and live happily-ever-after despite the odds.
We all have had things happen in our providential lives. Such as when we met our future spouses. Somebody hired us for that fantastic job that we were highly qualified.
Examples
We see providence in the Bible. God’s will wins every time. God protected Sarah so that ninety years old; she would deliver a healthy baby boy. God provided a ram for the sacrifice of Issac. God gave Issac two sons but determined the younger would receive the birthright while still in the womb of Rebekah. God protects Joseph when he’s sold into slavery by his brothers, and if you know the story, the brothers end up bowing down to him as Joseph dreamed.
Therefore, God whispers providence wins over serendipity.

Providence
As Christians, luck has no place in our vocabulary.
Romans 8:28 promises that all things work together for those of us called according to his purpose.
Sometimes when things are difficult, as the trial ends, we see the hand of God. We then realize our faith’s testing produced patience as we read in James 1: 2-4.
Read with me these verses in 1 Peter.
“Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” 1 Peter 1: 6-7. KJV.
Beloved, even if tempted, God provides a reason, and the outcome strengthens us. We grow in Christlikeness.
God whispers I have a plan for you to give you hope and future.
Conclusion
Don’t run ahead of God; stay on the path; obeying God’s instructions and God’s providence will out rule serendipity.
Where have you seen God’s providence in your life?
