May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
One hundred and twenty-four references to the word hope in God’s word, Are their more reference in the book of Job or Psalms? The word HOPE has been on the tip of my tongue daily since June. In June, an online friendship blossomed like a beautiful red rose blooming in the sunlight.
Everyday, my beautiful sister in Christ, Dr. Michelle Bengtson teaches me about hope, Just like each of us has twenty-four hours in a day, [Tweet “when we are facing a difficult situations; we have a choice to face it with despair or hope.”] Her book on depression scheduled for publication in 2016, Hope Prevails shares that God is the answer and that one can overcome depression because our hope is in God just like the verse in Romans 15: 13 says.
Beloved, where there is sadness, choose joy. Where there is despair, choose hope. Where there is helplessness, there is help. Where there are tears, God is catching every one of them.
Psalms has 22 references to hope but surprisingly Job had 15 references to hope. Job never blamed God for his physical, emotional, or spiritual pain, his hope sometimes waxed and aned but ultimately his hope restored. Beloved, do you believe that hope is yours? Do you trust that #HopePrevails .
Beloved, in Job 42: 2, you are called for a purpose, no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Claim this verse today.

October 28, 2015 at 11:38 amI’ve read Job and in some of his speeches, it seems like he’s blaming God, E.G. “Should we accept good from God and not trouble?” but in the end, he does come out the other side of it all to be blessed with double what he had before.

October 29, 2015 at 3:04 amLove this Diana! I have found a new kind of Hope since meeting you, Michelle, and several other amazing ladies who have shown me the love of Jesus through online relationships, but some days I feel closer to some of you than I do to some of my own family members. You ladies have reminded me that Hope can truly be found in Jesus! I love you, and I thank God for these friendships! ❤ Love, Rachelle
