The word is loved
People’s actions speak loudly. It is hard for me to witness someone yelling at a child in the grocery store. It is hard for me to witness a couple arguing calling each other names, yet the couple professes to love one another. Whereas, it is not hard for me to see a couple walking holding hands, or parents at the playground pushing a child in a swing. So, how do you know you are loved.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us’ (I John 4: 10-12, KJV).
So, you know you are loved by being in a relationship with God. In 1 John 4:19, we read, “We love him because he first loved us.” God is love, His character is love, He is known by love. Therefore, we can know we are loved by the actions of God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3: 16-17, KJV).
This was the plan to redeem us. He desires a personal relationship with each of us. When we walk with God reading God’s word, talking to Him in prayer, we are loved.
We know love because of the love of God.
Father God, thank you that we are loved. Loved with an everlasting love that only you can show and give. However, because of your love and Jesus’ sacrifice we can know we are loved. Let me share your love with others. For the woman who may not know you or does not feel your love, let that change today. We can know how we are loved by being in a relationship with you. I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How can you show your love to others? Do you know Jesus as your savior?
The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee “(Jeremiah 31:3, KJV)
