I love this song and when I saw the word immediately I thought of my dad singing this song. We are weak without the love of God in our lives. We read in 2 Corinthians 13: 8-10,

For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. In fact, we rejoice when we are weak but you are strong, and our prayer is for your perfection. This is why I write these things while absent, so that when I am present I will not need to be severe in my use of the authority that the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.”

My prayer is to walk close to God. Just a closer walk with Jesus until the day that I go home to be Lord. In my weakness I turn to Jesus. So where there is pain, there is relief. Where there is helplessness, there is help. Where there is hopelessness, there is hope. I pray for God’s truth to be lived in me daily. For where I am weak he is strong.
