My grandfather a judge in Carnegie, Oklahoma often held court in his house. Fourth of July and lighting fire crackers fond memories in my childhood, yearly sparklers and small fire crackers my friend and I would light the crackers, laugh and be silly. My uncle a police officer arrested us for shooting fire crackers in the city limits and we had to go before the judge.
God is a righteous judge, He is the only fair judge.
Should we accept all of God’s attributes and not accept God as our judge. As you know, I am a Freedom In Christ trained encourager, when the person goes through the steps of freedom: Step 3 is Forgiveness, after she forgives the person she releases the person to the care of God and asks God to bless the person because God is the only fair judge.
When Moses brought the children of Israel to the promise land, the number was so vast God had him assign judges to help him. Deuteronomy 1: 16-18
Moses Appoints Leaders
“Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman, or the alien who is with him. ‘You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not fear man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.’ I commanded you at that time all the things that you should do.”
Beloved, God is a fair judge, he shows no partiality, we do not have to fear his judgment because he is in the forgiveness business. Moses heard the difficult cases. God hears the difficult cases.
When we walk in the light of 1 John 1:8-10
sWalking in the Light
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
