Love One Another

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another Beloved,if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another…I John 4:11

I am a hopeless romantic. Being a hopeless romantic, I love Hallmark movies, I have watched Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail so many times. Seriously, I cry when someone wins on Price Is Right, commercials, movies and I will admit I reread the ending of a book several times. When it comes to the heart, I have a big one. I would give you my shirt if you like it and I have given many away.  I love to love people with the love of God.

Consider the people you have known in your life, is there a person who has genuinely loved you the most? What did this person do to make you feel loved?

-A new command I give you- Love one (1)

[Tweet “We are loved with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3]

Love is greater than faith and hope. 1 Corinthians 13:1

We love because God first loved us. I John 4:19

Today, I spent time with my husband but we gave the majority of the day to his mom. We took her to the places that she loves, thrift stores. We bought her lunch. We preferred her over our selves. That is what love one another is all about.

I hope that today was special for you and yours.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and

I am so thankful that God loves us. He made each one of us unique. He gave each one of us our gifts. Just as snowflakes are made unique, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Who can you encourage today? Who can you tell that he or she is special?

The person that genuinely loved me was my mom. She modeled for me the love that I would need to be the woman I am today.

I may be a hopeless romantic but my first love and my last love is God.

Father God, I love you Lord. You have given us your word as a gift. You have given us eternal love through Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for gift of Jesus.

Love this, Diana. Like you, I have learned that Jesus Christ is my primary relationship. He is my Valentine.

A few precious women friends have held me up over the years when I needed support. I thank God for them. Today, the people I most want to love and support are my three precious granddaughters. I thank God for them, too.

What a beautiful post and a beautiful way to spend your day. I appreciate your words, “I love to love people with the love of God.” So thankful for God’s unconditional love today. May extend that to others in the days ahead. I’m thankful I followed you at The Weekend Brew. It’s good to find another “hopeless romantic!” Bless you!

How wonderful to spend the day loving on someone else! My husband and I went out to eat at a Cuban restaurant–his favorite place to eat :). May God continue to shine through you as you love his love towards others!
