Marching Forward With Joy -Day 5
Beloved, love, and joy go hand in hand. In our scripture Mark 12: 30-31, we are told to love our Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. So, how do we do this? And how do we love our neighbor as ourselves? This is a tall order.
To love the Lord our God with all our heart should determine how we say and do. Our joy would be immeasurable.
There is a little song we sang in Vacation Bible School.
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart
I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart to stay
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart
I’ve got the love of Jesus, love of Jesus
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart to stay
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart
I’ve got the peace that passes understanding
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart to stay
Way down in the depths of my heart (where?)
Down in the depths of my heart (where?)
Down in the depths of my heart
I’ve got the wonderful love of my blessed Redeemer
Way down in the depths of my heart (where?)
Down in the depths of my heart to stay
With all your heart and soul and strength
Heart and soul and strength
Heart and soul and strength
You shall love the Lord your God
With all your heart and soul and strength
Heart and soul and strength always
