Faith, what is the object of your faith? We all have faith in something, this is known as the object of our faith. We have faith that our car will get us from point a to point b. We have faith that a chair will support our weight. If not we would never start the car or sit in a chair.
According to Bible Study Fellowship notes lesson 16 verse 1 of Hebrews is the only formal definition of faith in the Bible.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
(Hebrews 11:1)
God’s word demonstrates faith and we learn about real action heroes in the Bible. In this series I would like to explore the Bible heroes in the Hall of Faith. We find the Hall of Faith in Chapter 11 of Hebrews.
We see saving faith that acts on God’s word. Some of the the hero’s are Abraham, Moses, Joseph and David just to mention a few.
I will attempt to write about their strengths, weakness, victories, challenges, life lessons and what might be their life verse and join the #write28days.
