Five Minute Friday a time to write on one word and then connect with some amazing authors.
Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. 1 Corinthians 13:12
Steam fogs the mirror, or your glasses and one has to wait until this clears before one can see clearly. This is how I think of this verse especially if you are waiting through a crisis or have had a prolonged health concern.
Also, I think of this when I think of heaven. There will be no sadness in heaven, no pain, no tears. My mother went to heaven in 1977 but before she left God worked miracles such that my mother was well enough to be with my dad on their anniversary, that she would be covered by insurance. That her illness was not discovered until she was insured in Oklahoma. So many little miracles.
Now has a certain urgency to the word. I would like to say now is the time of salvation. Christ is born and now is the time to accept him as your Savior. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
