Introduction
Often I write my prayers using the word PART. Praise, Admit, Request, and Thanksgiving. I learned this from Becky Tirabassi. She has prayed for at least an hour a day for over thirty years. She uses a One Year Bible and a notebook with the different sections. Additionally, she has a section for listening, messages, New Testament, Old Testament, and Proverbs. Lastly, there is a to-do section. Her Bible is the Change Your Life Bible.
As I was reading this scripture, I could see this beautiful prayer.
Scripture
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Psalm 119: 18
Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Psalm 119: 33
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. Psalm 119: 37
Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word. Psalm 119: 41.
I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law. Psalm 119:55
Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words. Psalm 119: 57
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments. Psalm 119: 73
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. Psalm 119: 76
My Thoughts
The Psalmist prays that his eyes be open, there is a praise song that is about an open heart. Open The Eyes of My Heart.
I love the sentiment in this song. Will you pray the prayer of these verses?
Conclusion
Open the eyes of my heart Lord. May I be a witness for you Lord.

June 19, 2019 at 7:22 amI am thankful for the comfort He provides. During times of physical and emotional pain, I lean on Him and am comforted by His peace. I ask Him to place His loving arms around me. I pray I show His love in all I say and do.
