envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5: 21-23
The quote I think when I think of the word patience is “Patience is a Virtue”. It seems every time I pray for patience, my patience is tested. There is a song that says it best, the first lines to the song are , “I lost my keys in the great unknown and call me please because I can’t find my phone.” The song, This Is The Stuff.
The verse I thought of with patience in it is the fruit of the spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Although, I do not pray for patience. I am most thankful that God is patient with me. Beloved, He has not sent Jesus for the second coming because He does not want anyone to perish. He wants everyone to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Now this is PATIENCE.
