God made you a masterpiece–be blessed, secure, disciplined, and equipped. Joel Osteen

Beloved, as a Christian, this word secure takes my breath away. As a believer, we are Christ’s bride, his masterpiece, his friend, his joy, he died on the cross so that we may have security as  nothing can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8: 38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Because we are secure in Ephesians 2:10 we read, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”  Beloved, how does this make you feel?  Just think God prepares in advance, gives gifts, and then invites you to join him as he is already at work in the area.

Because we are secure in Christ, Ephesians 1: 2-4 says: ” Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms. For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love…  We are blessed. I love the fact we are holy and blameless in His presence.

Because we are secure in Christ, we are disciplined. Hebrews 12: 10-11, “They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”  We have discipline from God that shapes us for service.

Because we are secure in Christ we are equipped. In 2 Timothy 3: 16-17, ‘All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

Beloved, what does it mean to you to be secure in Christ? How is your devotional time with Jesus? reading your bible? praying?

Father God, thank you for your son Jesus that he died on the cross for my sins and the sins of my fellow sister that is reading this blog. Lord, I humbly ask for a fresh touch from you as we know we are secure in our salvation we can walk in a boldness to serve you and witness to others for you. Lord let us remember we are your masterpieces, that you treasure us and you want to be in relationship with us, you want to hear from us in prayer. We humbly draw close to you and ask that you draw close to us. In Jesus’ name. Amen
