Have you ever used a mediator? or mediation? We’re sued by our health insurance for a hospital bill that the hospital stay the insurance company agreed to pay. Hospitalized six weeks for migraine headaches in September 1984, pre-authorization given and authorization as the weeks went by, the insurance company agreed to pay for the charges incurred.
While in the hospital, I’m expected to take part in all the activities. I’m disabled at this time. Paul spent his last days writing letters to young pastors that would “tend the flame of faith long after his death” per Dr. David Jeremiah. Per the David Jeremiah Bible, Paul’s most likely writing to Timothy and Titus between AD 62 and 67. He penned 2 Timothy, his last letter from a prison in Rome, 2 Timothy 4: 6-8
Paul exhorts prayer, one mediator between God and man, and the role of women in worship in 1 Timothy 2. Worship’s so import in the church and in our daily lives. Beloved, is worship a part of your daily routine?
Paul instructs in verses one to four prayer, salvation and godliness. In 1 Timothy 2:1 it says, “Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be mad for all men”, Paul’s introducing supplications, which is urgent requests, intercessions’ speaking to God on someone else’s behalf, and thanks’ not just about giving a list to God but of being thankful. The main request in this passage’s for all men to be saved even Kings and men in authority. Another prayer in the verses 1-4 is for godliness and a peaceable life lived in godliness and with reverence. Beloved, how are you doing in your prayer life? Are you praying for the President of the United States? Are you praying for and living in godliness and reverence to God, praying for others? Do you pray for your self? Do you know Jesus as your savior?
Paul explains in verses four to seven that there is only one mediator between God and man. Jesus’ the ransom, for everyone but we must believe. Paul declares he’s a preacher and an apostle who speaks the truth in Christ. He states he is a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and love. I’ve decided to follow Jesus, no turning back. There is no other way to God except through Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life, John 14:6.
Paul exhorts men and women to pray anytime, and anywhere, lifting holy hands, to pray with confidence without wrath and doubting verse eight. Paul instructs women to be godly, to submit, and to pray. We are to continue in faith, love and holiness and self-control. Eve’s deceived by Satan but Adam willing ate of the fruit so he chose to disobey God. Adam and Eve exercised their free will. Daily we have choices to make. As women, we can point others to Jesus, or not. We can read God’s word or not. We can trust Jesus with our lives or not. We can pray or not.
Paul explains to 1 Timothy 2 that prayer’s important and that there is only one mediator between God and man.
My husband and I took our insurance company to small claim’s court and I came ready with the handbook and the authorizations and the court in mediation agreed that the insurance company’s responsible to the tune of $5,000.00.
