30 Days of Thankfulness-Day 12
“For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O Lord, how great are Your works!” Psalm 92:4. KJV.
Have you ever contemplated how wonderful the creation of the world is? God says in Psalm 139 I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Beloved, I get to see newborn babies every once in a while now that I am back to work. Sheer perfection, yet, the baby cries when she needs to be fed, burped, or changed. I remember my sweet friend admiring her baby boy and stating how perfect, and then I reminded her to wait until he turned two.
God’s works are unique from sea to shining sea. Recently at Bible Study Fellowship, we sang, “This Is My Father’s World.”
Singing this song reminds us of just how magnificent our world is? Shall we do as the Psalmist says and sing for joy?
Father God, thank You for your love and the creation of the world. Thank you that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I praise and thank you for all you have given us. In Jesus’s name. Amen
What can you thank God for that starts with I? How about our immutable God? Which verse did you choose to write out today?
