Unwrapping the Names of Jesus – Day 22
Beloved, I appreciate Christmas because it is the one time of the year that you hear from family and friends. Today the name of Jesus is Lord of Lords, but I usually say this name of Jesus as “King of King and Lord of Lords.” Perhaps it is because of the music sung at our church each year. Handel’s Messiah is significant. I can hear the crescendo of the orchestra; heaven will be unique.
Today, as I worked at the hospital, I had the opportunity to pray for a patient and a nurse that was hurting because her patient was in pain. Never underestimate the power of prayer and the power of just being there for someone. As we fast approach Christmas day, the birthday of Jesus the true reason for Christmas, seek ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ. In heaven, we will be praising the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:16. NKJV
Father God, thank you for Jesus.
What is God asking you to do today for Him?
