Unwrapping the Names of Jesus — Day 15
Prince of Peace
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Beloved, the peace of God comes to us in many ways. When I am feeling angst, I feel my shoulders up around my ears, and as I force myself to take a deep breath, sometimes peace will come. However, the other day, after I asked for prayer, immediately peace was mine.
As I untie the bow to the glittery package, the name of Jesus is Prince of Peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, He was born in Bethlehem, the Wisemen came and sought Him, the Shepherds came looking for Him, King Herod wanted to kill Him. Jesus turned the world upside down and still does. Yet for me, He brings peace when I feel angst.
Read with me the promise the Jesus gives us in John 14;
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27. NKJV.
Beloved, He is the Prince of Peace.
