Day 11: Five Minute Friday October Challenge, Neighbor
Growing up in Dodge City, we knew our neighbors. Beloved, do you know your neighbors? Do you show them your care and concern? Psalm 1 tells us blessed is the one who does not walk in step with a wicked person or sits in company with mockers. Who might that be? Carefully and wisely we need to choose our friends. The person who delights in the law of the Lord and who meditates on God’s word. The person who demonstrates his/her faith prospers. I am an expert on good neighbors, my husband, Doug had major back surgery five times. So, in describing a good neighbor, I think of our neighbors/friends who brought meals when one of us were sick, watched the boys, or when a crisis occurred dropped everything to come. Beloved, what ways do you show your neighbor your love and concern?
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14
