    28 Days of Loving God – Day 6

    28 Days of Loving God -Day 6

    Beloved, our word today is ease. Ease is in the Bible twenty-two times, mainly in the Old Testament, only two times in the New Testament.

    but whoever listens to me will live in safety
    and be at ease, without fear of harm.” Proverbs 1:33.

    How do you listen to God? Some say they have never heard the voice of God, but if you are reading God’s Word, you have listened to the voice of God.

    Sweet friend, read with me this psalm about the voice of God.

    Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
        ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
    Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
        worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness.

    The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
    the God of glory thunders,
    the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
    The voice of the Lord is powerful;
    the voice of the Lord is majestic.
    The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
    the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
    He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
    Sirion[b] like a young wild ox.
    The voice of the Lord strikes
    with flashes of lightning.
    The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
    the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
    The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c]
    and strips the forests bare.
    And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

    10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
    the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
    11 The Lord gives strength to his people;
    the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29. KJV.

    If we combine our verse with our word ease and our Psalm on God’s voice, as we look at the love of God and the promises, we will ultimately see this outcome.

    Whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm, He gives strength to his people, and the Lord blesses his people with peace.

    Do you love God? Is Jesus your Savior? Beloved, God loves you, and He wants you to be at ease.

    Father God, thank you for your word and the ease from worry when we trust in you. You are the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and end; you love us with an everlasting love. In Jesus’s name Amen
