Linking up with Tuesday at Ten
My prayer life has waxed and waned over the years. Until I met Becky Tirabassi who wrote Let Prayer Change Your Life. She has prayed over thirty years using a prayer journal and a one year Bible called a Change Your Life Bible and My Prayer Partner Journal which has 8 sections praise, admit, ask, thanksgiving, this is my part and then the next section is God’s part LMNOP, listening, messages, New Testament, Old Testament and Proverbs. Her mentoring opened up God’s word to me, reading the bible over the year, writing the word back in a prayer has helped me grow so much.
Then learning the SOAP method of bible study where S stands for scripture and O for observation and A for application and P for prayer once again writing the word of God in a prayer.

When I started writing my prayers my life changed, I encourage you to try this discipline. I do have times of audible prayer and times of 911 prayers. Also, by listing the dates of the prayer requests and the answers one can see the answers to the prayers, this is faith building action.
Beloved, prayer is the main building block of our relationship with God. Paul prays this prayer in 1 Corinthians 1:14-15
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you— so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
