While at Best Buy to swap out my telephone for a cracked screen, my husband found me a new computer. The telephone usable but the insurance on the phone expires at the end of this month.
But now, O Lord, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8 NASB.
Beloved, we are the clay in the hands of God. He shapes us, He gives us our purpose, He enables us to serve Him.
We need to study God’s word as this is how He speaks to us. We need to pray as this is how we speak to Him. Some of the passages are familiar and other passages aren’t. Yet God’s word is true and will be a life-line when times of shaping occur when we learn a new task when we are asked to witness for God.
He is the potter, we are the clay, mold me and make me, Master, I pray is how the song goes. I often sing this song.
Conclusion
Beloved, I am struggling, my health often interferes with the progress I hope to make. I am cracked and flawed, yet I am loved by God.
My husband hoped to make my life better with this new computer. It is faster, and the telephone pristine no cracked screen, however, the computer is taking a toll on me, the keyboard is slightly shorter and the words I type are strange, and no delete key.
Father God, delete from me the ugly thoughts, mold me, and make me a usable vessel. In Jesus’ name. Amen
What are you struggling with today? Can I say one more time, God is the potter, we are the clay. He uses this cracked vessel and He will use you.
How does God want to use you?
