S Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey you precepts.
O Psalmist declares his love and devotion for God’s word. With meditating on God’s word, God’s word was hidden in his heart and God’s word gave him wisdom. He proclaims his dependence on God’s word. He obeys God’s word. God’s word is known as law, commands, and precepts.
A What profits a woman? Do you have a daily quite time? Do you meditate on God’s word? When you feel insecure, do you turn to God’s word? When you need answers, whom do you turn to? Do you obey God’s word? Will you start reading God’s word on a regular basis because it is profitable to your life?
P Father God, I love you and your word. I long to apply your word to my day. Help me to learn your word and hide it in my heart. Give me courage to give the reason for my hope. Help me to always obey your word. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I will trust and obey for there is no other way. Let me rejoice and be glad. Let me be faithful. Let me hear well done good and faithful servant.
