“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14
What might you be struggling with today? Perhaps you are juggling an overwhelmingly busy schedule. Maybe you have small children, and balancing marriage and children is weighing you down. Perhaps you and your husband are in financial debt that is causing conflict.
You are unique
Beloved, do you know you’re unique and in the image of God. We read this in Genesis 1: 27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Because of this, we have a vacuum in our hearts that we can fill with God or with other things such as worry and fear. We need to renounce any fears and give our concerns to God. What can we do when we are fearful and worried?
The best way to handle fear is to identify the fear and then claim a verse in the Bible that counters the fear. So if you are afraid of failing, you can claim the verse in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives you strength.”
What about worry regarding one of your children or your finances or your marriage? God promises us in Matthew 6 if he takes care of the birds, will He not take care of you? Peter shares in 1 Peter 5:7 we can express God’s concerns because He cares for us.
Conclusion
Beloved in Psalms 139, we read how God saw us in the womb. Later, He declares you fearfully and wonderfully made. So we can rest in God. He loves us and loves us with an everlasting love.
Father God, we trust you. You created me and my sisters-in-Christ who are reading this blog. May we cast our cares on you. In Jesus’ name. Amen
Will you put your faith and trust in God for your schedule? You can trust him with your children and your marriage and your finances.
