Five-Minute Friday a time to write for five minutes on a word
Today the word is Fly.
“Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars.” I have always loved this song. God is so good that He gave us the gift of music.
Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like on
A-Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me
Fill my heart with song and let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you
Fill my heart with song
Let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for, all I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words
In other words
I love you
I was just on an airplane and went away for a rest quest. I stayed at Billy Graham’s conference center in Asheville, North Carolina. The time there was magical. The food was outstanding and the time with God amazing. Clearly, I didn’t get to play among the stars, but I had prayer time with God and time to listen and reflect on his Word.
What I realized during this time is that God is amazing and He is pleased with each one of us and desires only a relationship with us. As I meditated on his word and more on that in another post, I came to the conclusion that His best for me involves me being in His word daily. Will you join me and read God’s word daily?
Have you ever had the opportunity to fly somewhere to meet God?
