Surprise
Have you ever had a surprise birthday party? Has your husband surprised you with a weekend get away? Do you even like surprises? My mother surprised me with a surprise birthday party when I turned fourteen-years-old. A slumber party with all of my closest friends. Surprises do just that, you’re surprised. Has God taken you by surprise? Answered a prayer that was just a desire, a want that hasn’t even been spoken, yet God knows your heart and he gives your desires. Here’s my wish he answered, I have two married sons, four healthy grandson, and JoAnna my daughter-in-law becomes pregnant. I don’t dare speak aloud that I would love a granddaughter. Finally the day comes, sonograms and nestled so sweetly in her mother’s womb. No longer a surprise I am so thankful God gave me my secret wish and surprised me, that a baby girl. My other daughter-in -law has a daughter also. Two granddaughters, one from each son. Please hear me, I love my grandsons, but the girls are the cherry on top of the banana split
