And now I urge you, dear lady—not as a new commandment to you, but one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another. And this is love,that we walk according to His commandments. This isthe very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love. For many deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing to confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist 2 John 1: 5-6
My daddy played the guitar and a song I remember “Just A Closer Walk With Thee.” How does one walk closer with Jesus? First, one must know Jesus as Lord and Savior. John 3:16. Second, we must love one another and walk in love. Third, daily we must walk with the Lord in prayer and read His word daily. Fourth, we must pray to renounce our fears put on the full armor of God in Ephesian 6: 10-17 then we will have a closer walk with Jesus.
Beloved, will you walk closer to Jesus starting today?
