    31 Day Writings Uncategorized

Adventures on the dusty road include God’ faithfulness and blessings.

Beloved, every day we have a clean slate with God. Great is His faithfulness, His mercies are new every day. I’ve witness this in my life. How about you?

Today, we need to focus on the faithfulness of God. God is faithful. I see Him heal some of the sickest people. we have so many miracles in the Bible. Daily at the hospital, when I work, I pray with patients. Remember, God is at work all around you and he invites you to join Him.

I’ve been reading Daniel and Revelation. I am an encourager for First 5 ministry and a discussion leader for Bible Study Fellowship. I love volunteering. How do you serve God? First 5 is a Bible Application that you add to you add to your telephone. This was developed so you can read your Bible the first five minutes of the morning. The application offers devotions based on a book of the Bible and this month; the study is on Daniel. Additionally, At The Well, and online Bible Study, will be studying Elijah in a couple of weeks. I am a Team Leader over Group 60, 57, and 23. At The Well | Online Bible Study for Women | At The Well (communityatthewell.com)

It is so important to be in God’s word, so we know first-hand His faithfulness. It is also important to mentor others. To be kind and walk in forgiveness.

Then, Bible Study Fellowship is a wonderful study. We will be studying the book of Revelation. Studying with BSF on and off since 1980 has been such a privilege. I have studied the minor prophets, Genesis, Matthew, Acts, and now Revelation. My son who is in his 40’s was 3 when I started with BSF. BSF is a four-fold approach to studying God’s Word. As a member there is a lesson to read, Bible study questions to answer, then a discussion with other women and then a lecture on the material.

The word faithfulness is in the Bible 55 times.

They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! Lamentations 3:23

Definition of faithfulness is the quality of being faithful; fidelity: faithful, fidelity such strong words to describe God.

How has God been faithful to you? Sweet friend, in the midst of every trial God is faithful. We automatically trust that when we sit in a chair, the chair will faithfully hold our weight and support us. We can trust in God’s faithfulness.

Perhaps the most profound story of faithfulness is with the prophet Elijah. In 1 King 17, Elijah meets a widow– Such a profound story her son had died. Elijah performs the ultimate miracle and her son now alive. Then there is the miracle of finding water for the prophet and the making of the bread.

    Beloved, God is faithful.

The Lord will send his faithful love by day; his song will be with me in the night— a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8

For me, my husband and I have been sick with a virus, this prevented him from having a cardioversion– now scheduled for next week. We covet your prayers as we claim God’s faithfulness.

Father God, you are faithful. Thank you for the Bible and the examples of God’s faithfulness. I am in awe of how you answer prayer. Thank you for the love you have for the person suffering with depression or anxiety. Thank you for your faithfulness in providing for our needs physically, mentally and financially. In Jesus’s name, amen.

    “BLESSINGS”

    Karen L. Clark

    All our blessings

    Great and small

    Our Lord God

    Gives them all.

    Within His arms

    He holds us tight

    We’re always

    In His sight.

    Reach out to Him

    You’ll feel His touch

    Because He cares

    He loves us much.

    He sees us here

    He sees us there

    He sees us

    everywhere.

    He goes before

    He goes behind

    He never lets us

    Out of mind.

    He’ll fill your heart

    He’ll fill your mind

    With His Mighty

    Love Divine.

    He’s always near

    So have no fear

    In Him we

    Do abide.

    Through ups and downs

    His love prevails

    He never

    Leaves our side

    So, when you’re high

    Or, if you’re low

    It doesn’t matter

    Which.

    Lift up your heart

    Lift up your mind

    Ask Him to come

    Inside.

    So, give your heart

    Your mind and soul

    Then reap the

    Great reward.

    Eternal life

    Abide with Him

    Forever and ever

    And Evermore.

    It starts today

    So come and stay

    Within the

    Arms of God.

    For All our blessings

    Great and small

    Our Lord God

    Gives them all.

Beloved, we have a faithful God. One who deserves all our honor and praise.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praise to your name, Most High,
to declare your faithful love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night, Psalm 92: 1-2
