So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Cor.4:18
Beloved, we live in a temporary home for a temporary time determined by God. Yet we stress about our lives. Where we will live, what we will do, who we will see? It is normal to wonder about tomorrow because today has fleeting moments. These moments some of them are meaningful and others are forgetful. Jesus teaching the disciples about his future death and resurrection says in John 14: 1-4
“In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. “And you know the way where I am going.”
This is not a temporary home. Jesus paid the greatest price for those of us that believe on him, we will have eternal life and this life is not temporary.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrew 11:1
Beloved, even though our lives maybe temporary on this earth, or lives are going to last for an eternity in heaven with Jesus and God.
