Always stay humble and kind.

Our word today is always, always is in the Bible 89 times. The meaning of always is at all times, on all occasions. So beloved, what is something you always do. We always brush our teeth, wash our faces, and we ought to always pray and praise the Lord.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4. 

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—Ephesians 6:18.

Praying

In our prayers, we ought to always give thanks.

giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20

Another thing we can do is to rejoice in the Lord.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4. 

Glimpsing

As we glimpse at God’s beauty, there is much to be thankful for today. Right at this moment, we’ve got cows, a horse, and a donkey. Other times of the year, I see the hay growing in the field, surrounded by the trees changing with the season. Can I be honest? I don’t always give thanks for these things. However, this week, as I prayed with a patient at the hospital, I am more aware of rejoicing and always giving thanks for the blessings I enjoy.

I’ve not seen an owl up close and personal except at the zoo. But did you know that an owl has excellent vision? The owl can spot prey from afar, and the owl is always watchful. The takeaway from this post is that we always need to be humble and kind.

Thanking

Father God, thank you for the blessings that we have in our lives. Thank you that you are always present, all-knowing, and all-powerful.

Always and forever is God’s love; will you relish in this today?
