Salt and Sweet, taste and see
Taste and see that the Lord is good-a a powerful verse with the image of tasting. We all have taste buds on our tongues. These taste buds allow us to taste things that are sweet, salty, and bitter.
Taste is our Word, and the definition is the sensation of flavor perceived in the mouth and throat on contact with a substance–perceive or experience the flavor.

How do you taste and see that the Lord is good?
Beloved sweet friend, daily to taste and see that the Lord is good, we first must have the Lord Jesus as our Savior, then we must make him the Lord of our lives by daily praying and reading the Bible. When we read God’s Word and pray, we usher ourselves into His presence, and we taste the sweetness of being in a relationship with God through the love of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Father God, You are so good to each of us. You are the alpha, the omega, the begging, and the end. You are the salt of the earth, and you are the sweetness of heaven. Would you please help me to taste and see your best every day? In Jesus’s name, I pray, amen.
