Daily when I arrive at work, I see people rushing through the parking garage to their various work station so that they can clock. You see it is 7:30 a. m. and at 7:32 a. m. you’re late. My clock in time is 8:00 a. m. I am a creäture of habit and so I arrive early as I hate to be late. God loves us so much that He desires a relationship with us.
Daily, have you ever thought that God is waiting for you to meet with Him? I stand present with Jesus amazed. Oh Lord, you are the most amazing Lord. I was reading about my heart being God’s home. If one room was a library, what kind of books and video’s are you watching? If another room was a living room, who were we entertaining, what are we watching on television?
God calls you beloved. You are beautiful and loved. Psalm 139:14 says:
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
God gives you hope. You can be hopeful. Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
God gives us prayer. You can rely on prayer. James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
God gives us eternal life. You can have Jesus as your savior. John 3: 16-17
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17“For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
So whether you are rushing to get to work or rushing to get home. Your destination needs to include Jesus.
