    Jonah, Week 3, Day 2

    Reading and Assignment

    Jonah 3: 4-6, 2 Peter 3:9, SOAP 2 Peter 3:9

    Scripture

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

    Observation

God’s timetable is not our timetable. God does not want anyone to perish. God wants us all to repent.

    Application

Who are you praying for that needs to accept Jesus as their Savior? Have you become complacent or are you seeking God for their salvation? Have you ever wept for the lost?

    Prayer

Father God, let revival start with me. Let me be passionate regarding your word, let me be passionate about sharing your word. Lord bring to mind those that I need to be praying. In Jesus name. Amen.

    Conclusion

It is for freedom that Christ died, giving us freedom from our sins. We have the freedom to believe.

Will you proclaim the message of Jesus Christ?
